Last staged on Penistone Showground in 2004, Shindig Festival's return has been eagerly awaited by many. Shindig is back, due to popular demand, at its new home, Silverwood, Silkstone. The new festival site sits within an idyllic woodland setting on the fringe of the Pennines. 15+ acts will be performing over 3 days on a vast open air stage. Crowds of up to 5,000 people are able to enjoy music of genres ranging from indie and alternative rock on Friday and Saturday to acoustic, folk & roots on the Sunday. There really is something for everyone at Shindig Festival 2012 & this year's exceptional line-up makes It a must see event.
